Elizabeth
Elizabeth
Practice Manager
Throughout her childhood, Elizabeth’s family always kept at least one cat. Those early experiences with her pets left a permanent impression on her. When the opportunity arose for her to work in a field that allowed her to care for others’ animal companions, she knew that it was the perfect choice! Now, Elizabeth has been involved in the veterinary world for more than 20 years and couldn’t be happier to serve as Arch Creek Animal Hospital’s Practice Manager.

Elizabeth is originally from Homestead, Florida and first joined the Arch Creek Animal Hospital family in 1997 as a receptionist. As the years went by, she began taking on more and more responsibilities—when Dr. Williams purchased the clinic, he asked Elizabeth to stay on as Practice Manager. She’s served the area’s pets and animal parents in that capacity ever since!

Around the hospital, Elizabeth enjoys performing a lot of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps the facility running day in and day out. For her, poring over legal documents or accounting records is like solving a giant puzzle! Ultimately, Elizabeth considers it her mission to make the clinic something that her clients and staff can be proud of for years to come.

Elizabeth and Dr. Williams married several years ago and have six children between the two of them. The family shares their lives with a dog, Cody, and three cats: Ollie, Kion, and Kalifa.
Kimberly
Kimberly
Receptionist
Kimberly has always been a people person and served the public for many years before joining the veterinary profession. For her, getting to help the area’s animal owners and their adorable companions is a dream come true! Kimberly couldn’t be happier to meet and greet pet owners and their furry friends at the front desk.

Originally from Hialeah, Kimberly was encouraged by her own family veterinarian to enter the world of animal care. She was referred here to Arch Creek Animal Hospital by a coworker of hers, and joined the clinic family in October of 2018. She’s been here ever since!

Kimberly and her husband have one son, Bradley, who works as a supervisor with Google. At home, she lives with three indoor cats, eight outdoor cats, and a loveable dog named Lily. When she isn’t at work or spending time with her family, Kimberly loves giving her time to community service efforts—she’s involved in outreach programs for addicts and also volunteers at various homeless shelters.
Katrina
Katrina
Receptionist
Katrina loves to know that what she does every day makes a lasting difference. That’s why she enjoys working in the world of veterinary care so much—for her, educating the public on the best possible care methods for their animal companions is very rewarding! Katrina is a proud member of Arch Creek Animal Hospital’s reception team.

Katrina is originally from Exeter, Rhode Island and first started with the Arch Creek Animal Hospital team in 2015. She moved away from the area for a time, but recently returned and happily rejoined her hospital family. Katrina’s favorite part of her job is getting to see pets go home feeling much better than when they first arrived—seeing the relief and joy on pet owners’ faces makes it all worth it.

Currently, Katrina is pursuing her Master’s degree in paleobiology from Florida International University. When she has time between her school work and her shifts here at the clinic, she likes reading psychological thrillers, catching up on her favorite television shows, and relaxing with her family and dog at home. Katrina and her husband are excited to welcome their first child in the very near future, and also share their home with Otto, a goofy Shepherd who Katrina adopted from Arch Creek Animal Hospital a few years ago.
Brittany
Brittany
Veterinary Assistant
Brittany’s mother used to work as a Veterinary Technician, and some of Brittany’s favorite childhood memories involve watching her mom work. Those early experiences with a close-up view of the veterinary world made a permanent impact! Brittany knew that she would love to help pets hands-on herself—she now gets to do just that here at Arch Creek Animal Clinic.

Brittany is a Miami native and grew up with dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish. After shadowing at a few different clinics in the area, she started shadowing here at Arch Creek Animal Clinic in the fall of 2019 to gain experience for her ultimate goal: attending veterinary school. In October, Brittany was happy to accept a position here at the clinic as a Veterinary Assistant.

Outside of the veterinary world, Brittany enjoys reading, playing rugby, and spending time with her friends, family, and pets. At home, she has two playful Rottweilers, Pough and Vader, as well as a pair of cats who go by Jahseh and Andros.
Amber
Amber
Certified Veterinary Technician
Amber has, in many ways, grown up smack dab in the middle of the veterinary field—her mother is a veterinarian. She’s been exposed to animal care ever since her earliest memories, and she’s always known that she wanted to help pets as part of a talented and compassionate care team. Amber gets to do just that as one of Arch Creek Animal Hospital’s Veterinary Technicians!

Amber grew up in southern California and studied business in Orlando, working on the weekends at a local emergency pet hospital. Next, she took a job in Tampa before moving to northern Miami and joining the Arch Creek Animal Hospital team. Amber still loves emergency care because of the quick thinking and problem-solving skills it requires, but her favorite thing to do is help pet owners better understand the proper care techniques for their animal companions.

Away from work, Amber likes kickboxing, exercising through Crossfit, and running—she’s completed multiple 5k races for charity events! She has one pet of her own at home: Mr. Kitty, a fluffy cat who never fails to greet Amber at the front door.
Will
Will
Veterinary Technician
Will grew up with everything from dogs and hamsters to fish and an aquatic frog—he’s had an affinity for the earth’s creatures ever since he can remember. He started volunteering at his local nature center when he was only six years old! Will’s passion for the world of animals has simply never quit. For him, working hands-on with pets in the veterinary profession is a dream come true.

Originally from Stamford, Connecticut, Will shadowed a local veterinarian when he was still in high school, an experience that eventually led to him taking a job in the facility’s kennel. Will worked his way up and soon became a Technician’s Assistant, which only further convinced him that he wanted to pursue veterinary care as a career. Next, he attended the University of Massachusetts to earn his Bachelor’s degree in animal science with a concentration in biotechnology. In the future, Will hopes to continue his education at veterinary school.

Will moved to Miami in 2019 to live with his girlfriend, and he joined the Arch Creek Animal Hospital family that August. His favorite part of the job is the fast-paced work environment that constantly keeps him on his toes—he loves thinking on his feet in order to help save lives. Will is also passionate about keeping all animal visitors to the clinic as calm and comfortable as possible. He’s Level-2 Fear-Free Certified!

Outside of work, Will likes to cook, hang out by the pool, and spend time with his girlfriend and their two dogs at home. They share their lives with Brownie, a Yorkie/Poodle mix, and a Yorkie who goes by Tommy.

Dr. Albert F. Williams, III
Dr. Albert F. Williams, III
President, Owner, Veterinarian
Dr. Albert Williams grew up on a farm in Lake City, Florida, where he was surrounded by everything from dogs and cats to cattle, horses, pigs, and chickens. When he was three years old and got his first pet, a German Shepherd puppy named Skeeter, he accompanied his mother and the pup to the local veterinarian’s office. As soon as the doctor entered the exam room, young Dr. Williams was in awe. He knew that he wanted to become an animal doctor himself!

Dr. Williams began his journey by studying animal science at the University of Florida. He started volunteering at a clinic in Gainesville at the same time, and was hired on about two weeks later—he credits his experiences there for forming the foundation of his veterinary knowledge that he still uses every day. Next, Dr. Williams graduated with his Bachelor’s degree, completed a year of post-baccalaureate studies, and was then accepted into the class of 1992 at the University of Florida’s College of Veterinary Medicine.

After graduating and passing his board exams to become a licensed veterinarian, Dr. Williams accepted a job offer from a prestigious animal hospital in Miami. He would spend the next 11 years there honing his craft, eventually becoming a Senior Associate Veterinarian, and then purchased the hospital’s North Miami Beach location in September of 2003. Dr. Williams recently relocated the practice to a newly renovated, larger space—that’s where he and his team serve the area’s pets and animal owners today!

Medically, Dr. Williams is fond of internal medicine cases, soft-tissue surgery, and orthopedic work. For him, it’s extremely rewarding to use his skillset to help a pet feel better almost immediately. Above all, he enjoys knowing that he’s able to make a lasting difference for the families of his community.

Dr. Williams and his wife have six children between them, and they share their home with several pets: three cats named Ollie, Kion, and Kalifa, as well as a friendly Cavalier King Charles Spaniel/poodle mix named Cody. When Dr. Williams has a spare moment between his duties here at the hospital and family time, he enjoys walking in the mornings and fitting in the occasional round of golf.
Dr. Amanda Walton
Dr. Amanda Walton
Associate Veterinarian
When Dr. Amanda Walton was a little girl, she would constantly tell her father that she wanted to become a dog when she got older. Her father would in turn try to convince her to become a doctor. Now, she likes to tell him that they compromised! Dr. Walton’s passion for pets hasn’t let up since her earliest days—for her, helping animals daily as a veterinarian was simply the only path that made sense. She’s proud to serve as an Associate Veterinarian here at Arch Creek Animal Hospital.

Dr. Walton was born in Denver but also spent time growing up in California, Georgia, and Pennsylvania. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, then moved on to veterinary school at the University of Georgia. After graduating, Dr. Walton moved back to Miami to launch her career as a veterinarian.

Dr. Walton first came across an opportunity here at Arch Creek Animal Hospital when looking for a position as a relief veterinarian. She started here at the clinic working two days a week, but liked the hospital environment and team so much that she moved up to three days along with a few Saturdays per month. She’s especially fond of surgical work and cardiology, but her favorite part of her job is getting to meet new pet owners and their adorable companions every day.

In her spare time, Dr. Walton enjoys reading, spending time outdoors, playing volleyball when the opportunity arises (she even played for her school team at the University of Miami and met her husband in the process!), and spending time with her family and pets at home. She and her husband, Brian, have a young son named Jaxon and share their home with three animal companions: Nala, a Black Lab mix that Dr. Walton rescued from the Georgia Humane Society as a puppy; a retired racing dog named Tiger who doesn’t seem to understand that he weighs 90 pounds; and a mischievous long-haired cat who goes by Leo.
